About the course
The Active IQ Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training is a comprehensive course that delivers a high-quality learning experience, offering learners the opportunity to study and develop a range of skills in the health and fitness industry. Course content
This qualification comprises of 7 mandatory units (36 credits):
- Know how to support clients who take part in exercise and physical activity
- Health, safety and welfare in a fitness environment
- Principles of exercise, fitness and health
- Anatomy and physiology for exercise and health
- Applying the principles of nutrition to a physical activity programme
- Programming personal training with clients
- Delivering personal training sessions
Eligibility criteria
Learners must hold a suitable Level 2 qualification in gym instructing.
