About the course
The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Plastering focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of plastering, including materials, techniques, and tools.
Throughout the course, students learn how to prepare surfaces for plastering, mix and apply plaster, finish and repair plastered surfaces, and install plasterboard. They also gain an understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as communication skills required in the workplace.
The programme is taught by experienced professionals in the field who provide hands-on training and guidance.

Course content
To achieve the qualification candidates must complete the three Mandatory units for both of the Pathways plus the required Mandatory or Optional Units from one of the Pathways. Candidates may complete any of the Additional Units but these will not count towards the qualification.

- Moving, handling and storing resources in the workplace

Eligibility criteria
The course is designed for anyone who is in employment and has the right to work in the UK.
Our assessors carry out an initial evaluation of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
