About the course
The Proqual Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Interior Systems is a qualification that is designed for individuals who are involved in the installation of interior systems and decorative finishes in domestic and commercial properties. The course is suitable for those who are either new to the industry or for those who wish to develop their skills further.
During the course, students learn about the various types of internal wall systems, the different types of finishes available, and the techniques needed to apply them. Students also learn how to install internal ceilings, both suspended and plastered, and how to install internal partitions, including metal, timber, and glazed systems.
In addition to learning the practical skills required for the job, students also develop their knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as learn how to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
On completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate their competence in a range of interior systems and will be well-equipped to take on new projects and opportunities within the industry.
Course content
To achieve the qualification candidates must complete the three Mandatory units for all of the Pathways plus the required Mandatory units from one of the Pathways.

Eligibility criteria
The course is designed for anyone who is in employment and has the right to work in the UK.
Our assessors carry out an initial evaluation of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
